I was shocked and saddened to hear of Scotts passing! I worked with Scott many times here at Fermilab repairing underground water line breaks and we spent hours together at the bottom of excavations in all types of temperatures extremes. No matter how cold, wet and miserable we were, Scott always insisted on staying until the repair was done to his satisfaction often times telling me, "Well Greg, that's why we make the big bucks!", after which we'd share a good laugh.
