Not sure what to say?

We did not know your family, but our daughter-in-law, Kim Johnson requested prayer for you when she received a call from her good friend, Stephanie. As part of God's family, we have a special bond, and we sympathize with your family at the passing of your husband, dad and grandpa, but are rejoicing that Scott is at home with his Heavenly Father. As Christians we can look forward to God's family reunion, and what a wonderful day that will be!

The official definition of integrity in the dictionary says "see Scott Kemp".
Scott had a unique way of combining personal high standards with acceptance of the weaknesses in all of us, and he reflected this with such an easygoing and self-effacing sense of humor. We will miss him terribly, but his memory and impact on our lives will always be a part of us.

Scott was a great man who leaves an incredible legacy. It has been a privilege to know him. My prayers are with the Kemp family. He will be greatly missed, but we are all assured of his whereabouts. He is with the King!

We will remember Scott Kemp as
truly a "man after God's own heart"
He was our spiritual mentor in our Thursday night Bible study. When we moved to AZ from MI, he was so kind, inviting, and answered all of our questions about CCEV church and Bible questions. Scott knew the Bible inside and out and when we asked him a question about a topic, he would go to his Bible and find where the topic was addressed.

Although we will miss Scott at the upcoming UPT class reunion there must be a wonderful renewal of friendships in that squadron in heaven.

Our loss is heaven's gain. What a man and what a legacy he has left through his joyful obedience. Kemp family... even though we've not spoken in years, you continue to hold a special place in our hearts, and now, more than ever, we will lift you before the throne, praying for comfort from this day forward. Not only is Scott one of those "once in a lifetime" kind of guys, but it is true of your entire family as well. Thanks for the blessing you all are to the world. I look forward to...

I had the privilege of working with Scott for the full week prior to his death. We had several conversations about our children and he was truly proud of all his family. We laughed a lot and I know Scott was a happy man.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. I worked with Scott for a couple of years and he was a pleasure to know. Scott could bring a smile to your face with just his hello. He was a genuine man with a heart of gold.
