Scott and Kathy Maline

Scott was one of my students my first year out of college, teaching at Cozad High School. I couldn´t have asked for a better student. He was polite, understanding, courteous, respectful, helpful, and much much more. He definitely was one of my favorites. I am not surprised to read what he has become, and has done with his life and to know he has made such a positive impression on so many lives. The world has lost a wonderful human being.

Having grown up in Cozad I knew both Scott & Kathy. What remarkable people they have been, & their contributions to education & the students´ lives they impacted. My family interacted with/the Malone Family at all of the events at the Methodist Church in Cozad. I took baton lessons from Kathy´s mom & got to see Kathy frequently at lessons. My family moved from North Platte, Nebraska to Cozad in the fall of 1957 and met the Maline family through the Methodist Church and I believe my dad met Don and his brother Glendon Maline through the Cozad Jaycees. Scott and I both loved sports and would play basketball, football and/or baseball whenever our families got together.
