For me, Scott and I had our differences when I worked with Scott in 2000-2001 at Viking in Tucson. Outside, he was the life of the party. I am sorry that he died and felt more with his family he left behind.

Good Bye to my friend Scott. You gave me a good many laughs and even though it's been a long time since we've seen one another, I have some of the best memories of laughing with you and that is the best gift someone could have and for that I am grateful.
My deepest sympathy for this lost in your family. I'm sure Scott will be deeply missed.
Best regards,
Yvonne Miller

I worked with Scott for a couple of years in SLC before moving several times. The moves did not keep us from staying in touch. We talked often through the time he worked in Tucson. I lost track of him after that. Scott could always make me laugh and I made it a point to call him when I needed to smile. I only hope I brought him the same happiness that he seemed to so willing give others. Scott will be missed dearly, but the memories he created will live on.

I am deeply saddened by Scott's untimely passing. Scott was electrifying. Some of the funnest, most memorable times of my early 20's were with Scott. He was so energetic, endearing, and fun. My deepest sympathies to his family, especially Jody and his children. Scott had an impact on all who knew him. I will remember him always.

Lisa and family, my deepest sympathy for your loss. Scottie worked with my husband at Fedex Freight, and I remember the stories I would hear about his pranks and jokes. Les called him "the great motivator". I can't even imagine what mischief he and Buster are getting into now. My thoughts are with you.

I enjoyed Scott's humor and friendship, from his 22 bracelets, his 6 shirts he wore all at once to the hung he would give you to say hello. We got all of that "for a dollar!" My thoughts and prayers go to his family and friends. He is one of a kind and will be missed.

To know Scott was to love him. I worked with Scott for many years and hanging out with Scott always presented a threat albeit financial, physical or mental because he was capable of doing anything for a laugh, at any time. That being said, even with the risks, everybody wanted to be around him and in on what he was doing. There are not many people you can say that about. I really miss him, and have the deepest sympathy for his family.

Growing up next to Scott was always an adventure. He always had a smile for you and wanted to make sure that you did not take yourself to seriously. I learned one thing, that to this day I say even to my children and they think I am crazy. "Seven, Yeah, Buck-Twenty Five". We will miss him and his endearing smile.

I have so many fond memories of working nights at Viking Freight. Scott was the operations manager and was always buzzing around the office. He had so much energy it almost made me tired to watch him. He was always looking for a way to make you laugh or at least smile. Scott was so fun to be around. His sense of humor would rub off on the rest of us and it made it fun to be at work. I loved his sense of humor and willingness to help wherever he could. I will miss him but will carry his memory with me forever.
