Dear Janet,

My heart is broken for you because of the loss of your dear son. Although I didn't know him personally, I remember many wonderful things that you told us about him as we proofread together. May Heavenly Father surround your family with His love and peace at this sad time is my prayer.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of your great loss. Scott was such a kind and gentle being and a great example to my children. My thoughts and prayers are with your sweet family.

I'm so sad to hear of Scott's passing. I looked up to Scott all through my youth; he was a great example and made everybody around him feel genuinely loved.

I am so sorry to hear of Scott's passing. I was always appreciative of his friendship. I have fond memories standing in the Peterson's front yard when we were young and trying to hit tennis balls over my house with a baseball bat, or flying gliders off the hill in his back yard, or just jumping on the trampoline. Scott was a good person and the Peterson's were great neighbors. I know that Scott will be missed. I'm grateful for the kind friendship and gentle influence Scott had on my life as...
