Not sure what to say?

Admiral Sears impressed upon me the value of my work and my service, both in uniform as well as in my civilian service within NAVSEA. And I enjoyed my time with him at NUWC, no small thing there. I still think of him often.

He was exceptionally intelligent with a sharp but understated wit. He was in our wedding 35 years ago. We think of Scott often.

Barbara,
My deepest condolences. So sorry for your loss, you and the family are in my prayers.

NUWC Newport, RI

Doreen and I offer our deepest sympathy to Barbara and the Sears' family. As a member of the NUWC HQ team, it was a tremendous honor and privilege to serve RADM Sears during the early years of the Warfare Center. We will always remember the many special moments during his Command especially his "Happy Trails" retirement party. Wishing you peace and comfort during this difficult time.

My condolences to RADM Sears' family. He was XO on USS Stimson when I served onboard. He made me a better sailor and a better person.
