Not sure what to say?

I met Scott several years ago when he joined Firepit Runners. We are a local group that embraces all runners from beginning to elite and we celebrate each and every victory. Scott and I immediately bonded over our IU background and Indiana roots. This picture is from the annual Firepit Runners Friendsgiving at my house in November. It was the first time he had attended this event. I obviously had no idea it was the last time I would see him. He was planning to run the Snowmass Ragnar in June...

I'm broken hearted as I've just heard this news. I first met Scott when he kindly introduced himself and corrected me on the pronunciation of his last name as I had mistakenly said it over the loud speaker at an HRCA race. I was proud to correctly say his name countless times over the years since then as he took the podium. -DJ WEST

Made many fun trips to Warren Dunes to run up Tower Hill with Scott. We always wondered if my car would make the trip there and back but we would go anyways. There were always friends from EMHS to hang out with on the beach. Rest in Peace my friend.

I worked with Scott at Harris Bank. Scott was a great guy who was always smiling and full of energy. Rest In Peace

Always a great guy from Elkhart Memorial HS.

I will never forget the good times I had with Scott running, biking and adventure racing. Scott was a great friend.

Was very shocked and saddened when I heard this news. Scott always made me feel welcomed at the Highlands Ranch running club and was very supportive at practices! Rest in peace my friend!
