Not sure what to say?

Scott was a close friend of mine. We had so many good memories and stories from past experiences that will last a lifetime. He knew how to have a good time and we lived it up. Everyone that was involved in Scott's life will miss him. Scott was a top notch guy who was driven to succeed. His life was full of many great accomplishments and I am proud to be a friend of Scott Whelan.

Last night in Scotland!

Guiness Factory in Ireland!

A bunch of us in London!

I met Scott in my first marketing class at KSU, from then on we had many classes together every semester and even ended up riding to graduation together. I also have him to thank for talking me into going on the study abroad trip to Europe where I got to know him better. He was a great guy with an amazing spirit and knew how to live life to the fullest. He will be truely missed by all who knew him.

Whelan family, Jackie, Jeremy and all his closest friends, my thoughts and prayers...

Dear Chuck and Bryant,
I am so sorry to hear about Scott; we went to high school together at Norcross and at Duluth. I cannot imagine having gone through my first year at Duluth without Scott. We used to ride to school together in the gold bug, and it made my day so much happier. Scott was a wonderful man, and a wonderful friend; I am blessed to have known him- he helped make me a better person. He will be very missed by myself and my family, who also loved him. Please know that your...

I met Scott at Kennesaw State University in Fall of 2003. I had the pleasure of being Scott’s friend then dating him for a year. He brought me out of this box I was living in coming from a small town. He taught me many things about life and how to enjoy it. He was such a special person and will be missed.

Chuck, Bryant, Nanny, Jackie and Jeremy...I am so sorry for your loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with The Whelan family at this time. I went to school with Scott and he really was a great person.
God Bless

Scott and I dated for a couple years, and you couldn't ask for a sweeter, funnier, more caring person! His energy and laughter were contagious, and when I think about his laugh it makes me smile. Scott and I were not in contact as much recently, but I am glad we did get a chance to reconcile. He even came with Bryant to see my dad in the hospital this past Christmas which really touched me and my family. I will miss Scott and his unbelievable lifeforce. Chuck, Bryant, Nanny, Jackie: you are...
