Not sure what to say?

One day during his clinic at General Surgery, Dr. Cleary came up to me and said, "Can you please make sure that all the rooms have tissue boxes? We have to tell some sad news at times to patients, and I want to make sure it's available when they need it." It seems like such a simple request, but it speaks volumes about the kind of physician and person he was - compassionate, thoughtful and kind. To Dr. Cleary's family, my deepest condolences. I am keeping you all in my prayers.

It is difficult to think of the right words to honor Sean's memory. I cherished working closely with him through AHPBA and valued his solid, thoughtful advice and support. I know that I, along with so many others, will think of him with every AHPBA event and I hope that we can honor his memory through our ongoing work. Thinking of you, his family, at this time.

My deepest condolences in your sudden loss of Dr. Cleary. I had the pleasure of knowing him only a few years with my diagnosis, he was a most caring Dr. &I had such faith in him. May his memory be a blessing. Regards, marie McCalden

Our sincere sympathy to you and your family

I was so saddened to hear of Sean's passing. I remember him fondly from our meetings at conferences and phone calls discussing patients. He was always a class act, so humble and kind. My deepest condolences to the Cleary family. He will be greatly missed.

To the Cleary Family, It is impossible to select the right words to express the sadness that you must feel from losing someone who has been such an important part of the soul of the family. I didn´t know Sean well but I did know the love all that had for him. Clearly, he lived an amazing life and touched in a deep and meaningful way so many. That is such an incredible contribution to make. Please accept our deepest sympathies for your loss and know we are always there to lend any support...

Dear Mike and Lisa, so sad to hear about Sean. My deepest condolences to you and your family. As a former runner and marathoner I'm sure he had many wonderful experiences...and lived a great life!

Please accept my sincerest condolences. My thoughts are with you.

I am in shock hearing this sad news. I have assisted Dr.Cleary in many procedures that required image guidance( intra-operative ultrasound guided tumor/mass ablation). I will dearly miss your professionalism and our random coffee break meetings at Starbucks. May God rest your soul Sean...
