I did not find out until recently Shawn had passed. I was his platoon leader in German (501st MP CO.). Shawn was my driver when we were in the field. He was an outstanding young man at that time. I followed his progress as he completed the SF Q. We always talked about him going SFAF and I always encourged him to go for it. To the Family, I know your pain, my family laid to rest my baby brother CSM Wardell Turner on January 5th as your family was hit with this untimely death. Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in loving memories help support you in the days ahead. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
