Sectria Williams

Sectria Brooks Williams, 82 was born September 11, 1943, to the late Jacob Brooks and Mary Ellen Brooks. She departed this earthly life December 29, 2025, after a lengthy illness.

Sectria was educated in the public schools of Aiken County, Aiken, South Carolina.

She was married to the late Herbert W. Williams. Sectria was a faithful and devoted member of the A.O.H. Church under the leadership of the late Prophet John Thomas, until her health began to decline. She enjoyed attending church and giving God all the praise. She was employed with Aiken School District as a custodian for numerous years.

Sectria was preceded in death by her brother, James Robert Brooks; two sisters, Christine Peggy Jackson and Vivian Ann Cullum.

Those left to cherish her memories are her son, James A. (Rose) Brooks of Aiken, South Carolina; two daughters, Elaine (Isaac) Milton of Aiken, SC and Pertina (Freddie) Johnson of Batesburg-Leesville, SC; two stepsons, Calvin Williams of Lexington, SC and Herbert Williams, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; three siblings, Earnestine (Roy) Parris of Atlanta, GA, Willie James (Vanessa) Brooks of Cleveland, Ohio and Alvenous Lee of Augusta, GA; one grandson, Freddrick Brooks; seven granddaughters, Portia Brooks, Tarelle Brooks, Maria Laque, Brittany Brooks, Angie Brooks, Sectria Brooks, Audreanna Brooks; brother-in-law, Frank Daniels of Saluda, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, great grands, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
