Ava Williams Obituary

Visit the P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home website to view the full obituary.
Ava Paige Williams, a bright and beautiful soul, was born on October 22, 2016, in Manteca, California, and passed away on January 30, 2026, in San Francisco, California. Though her time on this earth was far too short, Ava's impact was profound, and her light touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Ava is lovingly survived by her parents, Harold and Amanda Williams; her cherished sisters, Mia and Ella; her grandparents, Rick and Debbie Shaw and Mike Loza; her aunts and uncles, Seanna Loza, Brian Williams, David Bates (Alex), and Kimberly Hale; and her many cousins who adored her. She is preceded in death by her grandmother Carrie Loza.

Ava attended Shasta Elementary School, where she absolutely loved school and learning. She approached each day with curiosity, and joy. Her favorite movie was The Princess and the Frog, and she dreamed of owning her own business one day-just like Princess Tiana. Ava had a true love for cooking and proudly shared her dream of becoming a chef when she grew up.

Remarkably creative and wise beyond her years, Ava was also a published author. She wrote two children's books with her dad, both currently available on Amazon: We the Pupils and Cockroach Joe Loves to Go. These books were written in loving dedication to her beloved black Lab, Betty. Ava even hosted a book signing at the hospital, sharing her stories with other children and bringing smiles to their faces.

Ava had a deep compassion for others and loved visiting children in the hospital to offer encouragement and support. Her personality was full of life, she was always happy, always smiling, and always spreading joy. She was incredibly creative, an artist at heart who loved drawing and customizing everything around her to make it uniquely her own.

Ava's strength and courage shined brightly through her medical journey. She was overjoyed to receive her heart transplant on December 30, a moment filled with hope and gratitude that reflected her resilient spirit.

Ava will forever be remembered for her kindness, creativity, courage, and boundless love. Her legacy lives on through her words, her art, her compassion, and the countless hearts she touched.
