I remember Mick and Wal with great affection. They were marvellous to deal with in the wool business. One of my late friends Eric Jenkins was a great friend of the Bremners. The world has lost a true gentleman and decent human being. Sail well Mick.

Moe mai e te ranagatira, moe mai i roto i te rangimarie. Very sad to hear of 'uncle' Mick's passing. He played All Black rugby with, and Provincial rugby against, my father, Bill Gray (deceased 1993). I was very fortunate to meet Mick when I started my law degree at Victoria University Wellington in 1981 and joined the University Rugby Club at the same time. Though a shadow of my father on the rugby field I enjoyed 10 years with the University 'A' Team and Mick was a constant figure around...
