SGT MAJ. (R) John Crowe Obituary
SGT MAJ. (R) John Robert Crowe, age 94, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.
Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon, Wednesday July 23, 2025 at McReynolds Nave and Larson Funeral Home. Burial with full Army Honors will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
John entered this life on July 2, 1931, Texas. He served 30 plus years of Honorable service in the Army. He spent 18 ½ years overseas in such places as Korea, Japan, Germany, Moscow USSR, Rangoon Buma, Laos, Vietnam, and Thailand. Major assignments included were SGT MAJ SEATO (Southeast Asia Treaty Organization) Hq, and SGT Maj for Assistant Chief of Staff, G1, 101st Airborne Division.
Survivors include his dear wife of 50 years Buariem C Crowe and stepson Rocky Boonrin (Orapin). He also leaves behind two loving grandsons, Rocky Andrew Boonrin, and Byrce Bjorn Boonrin.
