Shane McCarthy

As we hung up our Christmas decorations we came across a couple of ornaments that Samantha and Shane made together when they were younger. It made us smile and shed a tear as well which I'm sure will happen every year. Thinking of you guys always!! Love, the Smiths.

I have a special memory of enjoying a "Home Night" meal lovingly prepared and hosted by Michael and Angela at their home in Greenfield.

I had the pleasure of having Shane as a student in my class this semester. I am deeply saddened by his loss. He was a promising young man with lots of plans for the future. My thoughts are with the family in these most difficult days. May you find comfort and peace in your memories with Shane.

Julie and family, we did not know Shane personally but feel like we do a bit now from the beautiful pictures, obituary and tributes. Sending you lots of love from San Diego.

I didn´t have the pleasure of meeting Shane, but I know his Auntie Julie adored him and always looked forward to their summer times together on the Cape. There aren´t enough words to express the sorrow I know you are all feeling. Shane was certainly loved.
