Not sure what to say?

I remember when the Friel's moved to Benicia a few blocks down from our family. My sister Elaine and I spent a lot of time with Shannon those first few years. My best memories of Shannon are in the younger years when we spent a lot of time on what we called the island just off of their back yard. It wasn't really an Island, but we thought we were queens out there.
To the entire Friel family, you were blessed to have such a wonderful daughter and sister. Keep her in your heart and she...

I am very sad to hear of Shannon leaving earth, but she is now pain free, light as a feather, and free of all the meds.
I lived next door to Shannon for over 12 years & saw her nearly everyday. Shannon's doctors did not wanting her to clean the litter box, so that was my responsibility. We shared many things between our households, borrowed from each other constantly and talked for hours and hours.

Shannon was a trooper and a great BUNCO buddy. Glad to have met her! Bless her and her Family at this time.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

My Prayers are with the Friel family. God Speed you from grief into comfort knowing Shannon is Home with the Lord now.

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.

What an honor to met such a wonderful person, so kind. I know heaven has another angel and until we see you again Shannon may you soar high and your family left behind be comforted and at peace. Love to the family

She was a delightful, warm and charming addition to the day's festivities and we felt honored that she chose to accompany Bill and Janet to our home. We offer our sincere sympathy to you and your family for the great loss of an...

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
