I am so sorry for your loss. I grew up next door to Sharon and as children we spent many days playing childhood games. baseball, monopoly, showering off during the hot summer days with the garden hose. We had so much fun! I lost touch with her after graduation from high school. But I must say that Sharon was the same as a child as people are saying she was as an adult. So sorry to have lost touch with her and thank you for the photo gallery.

She was such a wonderful person and a great friend of our family (The Wilsons), specially my mom Harelyn. Sharon will be greatly missed. When Ms. Sharon saw you upon upon arrival at Travis High School, she would greet you with a warm welcome. She helped parent volunteers in any way she could. I always enjoyed visiting with her at school. Ms.Sharon shared her joy with everyone and will be greatly missed. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Sharon was a ray of sunshine. She made the world a brighter place for everyone fortunate enough to cross her path during a busy, stressed-filled day. She eased other's burdens daily with a smile and the words, "What can I do to help?" She blessed many lives, and I will miss her.

Dear Kenny, Ken, Laurie and families. I will keep you in my prayers and thoughts. Sharon was one of my very best friends growing up. We were in and out of each others houses every day. We spent almost every minute of every day together. We played football and baseball in her yard. We doubled dated, I stood in her wedding, I am Ken's godmother. It makes me so very sad that we lost touch over the years with each our lives becoming busy with our own families. Sharon was often in my thoughts. I just didn't pick up the phone often enough. Always willing to lend a helping hand. An exceptional lady with charisma and genuine care for others. Just last week I remember making some copies and she asked if I was ok because I looked pale. She found me later on that day to check up again on me to see I was ok.

Sharon was an amazing woman. She was so loving and kind. I can still here her voice and her laugh when I would call Travis to talk to my mom. She touched everyones life in a positive way and will be truly missed. My mom (Dorothy)will never be the same without Sharon in her life. I just hope one day we all get to see her again.

Mr. Schackai and family,
I will miss Mrs. Sharon so much. She was my shining angel here at Travis High School. She always brightened my day with her smile and her humor. It was part of my daily routine to go and say hi to her each morning. I lost my mother at the age of 63 a few years ago and it is very hard. It's especially hard to be the one's left behind. Please know that I will be praying for you and your family. Here's the verse that helped me during my difficult time.
Matthew 11:28 "Come to me you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.". I hope that it helps you as much as it did me. Take care and God Bless.

Dear Kenny and family,
My husband Mike and I worked with Sharon at Travis High School since the opening of the school. Each morning I made my way to the front office to check my mailbox and to check in with "Ms. Sharon" as everyone called her. We shared recipes , stories of our families and lots of laughs each day.
