Glenn family,
Shawn was one of the dearest friends of my entire life. I was honored and blessed to spend a lot of time with Shawn, Amanda and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn at their home playing Rook and discussing life and family. I am blessed that I talked to Shawn a couple of months ago and caught up on life with him. God laid him on my heart and I have been praying for him daily since. I will continue to pray for the family that the peace that passes all understanding that the Bible talks about will rest on the family.
I am deeply grieved to hear of his passing because the world will be a lesser place without his wit and wisdom.
God bless,
Terry Arnold

Shawn Glenn Family,
My family has been staying at the Residence Inn in Brentwood for several months and speaking to Shawn over this time has been a great pleasure of ours. We talked about every subject possible and his humble spirit was always evident. He is a true "people person" - always engaging, friendly and helpful. He loved his family and loved talking about his wife and children.
Our heartfelt condolences to the Glenn family for your, his friends' and the community's loss.
Respectfully,
NICOLE MOORE

I was truly shocked when Terri told me of Shawn's passing. It brought back a flood of memories of growing up together. Many of my most cherished memories during that time has Shawn in them. He had the best sense of humor of anyone I have ever known and always had a joke to share. I'm sure there is more laughter in Heaven now.

Dear Marian,Jennifer, Megan, Brad and Shannon,
Shawn was my boss at Marriott before I moved away to Austin. I was lucky to call him my friend for three years yet it seems like I've known him forever. His passing leaves a huge void in so many lives. The reality of it has yet to set in.
It sounds so cliche but Shawn was One Of A Kind. He was adored by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He never met a stranger. He had stories and jokes and antidotes that would entertain for hours and hours on end. It always amazed me that he could remember them all.
I will feel forever blessed that he called me on Saturday to check in with me and we had the chance to catch up on each others lives, the hotel, his art, his friends and his family. He never missed an opportunity to speak of his love for all y'all and his best friend Charlie. I feel like I know you all and yet I've met just a few and in passing.
Shawn taught me so many lessons about life. Besides being my friend, he was my mentor. I could always trust that his take on any given situation was fair and his advice was sound. What an incredible guy!
As you deal with your personal journeys of loss, please know that you were all very much loved by him. He was proud of you and he made certain that everyone knew it.
May the depth of our sorrow match the lightness of his passing. Shawn's love and goodness will be in our hearts for all eternity.
Hugs to you all,
