Not sure what to say?

Shawn,

Uncle Richard and I enjoyed meeting your community of friends and neighbors. It quickly became apparent to us just how loved you were by all. We will miss you, not only for now, but for all the times we had planned to spend with you. We promise to offer continued love to your parents. So sorry you did not get to meet Conner. We hope he will become the fine young man you grew to be. We are proud of you for now and forever.

The eagle is...

I only met Shawn once in the time my sister Sherry has been married to his dad Tom. Shawn seemed like a really sweet and caring guy. I know how very proud Tom was of Shawn and how terribly hard his passing will be on him. Tom wasn't lucky enough to have Shawn living close to him, but I know how much he wished he'd had that luxury. Shawn had been the one true blessing only a father can know. Please remember Tom and his wife Sherry in your prayers, they also are suffering a sad and lonesome...

The first time I met Shawn he was moving in with Matt and I until the deal was done on his beach house, he was so excited about it. I helped him make his bed that first night and we bonded instantly, not many men make a bed so carefully and using hospital corners, I had found a kindred spirit. After he moved I used to joke that he was all alone out there on the res and he should move back with us. Then I met his neighbors, who quickly became his friends. Shawn had a way of making friends...

To the best of friends and family, Curly was one of the most geniune friends I have had. I will always remember the afternoon boat rides we took togather and the awesome stories we would share while enjoying the view from the deck at the cottage. I love you lots and will miss you until we meet again... May your spirit and willingness live on in all our lives.

Being Shawns' neighbor at the beach the past several years has been a delight. He was always there to help me out. Always there to answer my construction questions. Most importantly he was always there as a friend just to hang out with have a beer and enjoy the sights and sounds of the bay. Brian and I enjoyed your company and will miss you a great deal. To Shawns family, we are very sorry for your loss.

We were so shocked to hear of Shawn’s accident and our hearts ache with his passing. He has been a friend in our family for many years, beginning up on San Juan Island when he became a great friend to our son Matt during their high school years. We feel lucky to have known Shawn both as a friend and an even as an employee for a short time – he was an awesome person. It was just a few weeks ago, he came by with Matt to return the trailer that they borrowed when he replaced his roof. We can...

Shawn was always a kick in the pants to be around. He was always making funny comments & he was never borring to listen to.
There was a time when he was having a get-together at his place, & I hadn't seen or spoken to him for quite a while, when he surprised me with a phone call to invite me to his party. It made me feel good that he went to the effort to obtain my number to extend the invite. That day he made the BEST seafood jumbalaya that I have ever had!
I also remember a couple...
