So sorry

I was a student of Mrs. Hensons many years ago when I was in 6th grade. In 8th grade my best friend and fellow student passed away. I´ll never forget her kindness and compassion toward me and many other students not just during that time of grief but throughout our middle school journey. I´ve often wondered how she is through my adult life and I´m so sorry to hear of her passing. I hope her family and friends know how many young lives she touched and helped shape throughout her teaching career.

Mrs. Henson was one of the most caring people I´ve ever had the privilege of knowing. She shaped countless futures and forever changed the trajectory of many children simply through her kindness and genuine care. She gave so much to our community, leaving a lasting legacy of compassion, and made so many of us better human beings just by being herself.

So sad to hear of this news from Travis. Steve and Sheila and the kids used to travel up back in the day for sports. Condolences to the whole family.

One of my favorite teachers of all time. Her laugh was contagious. Much love to her family during this difficult time.

I can still recall your laughter and welcoming friendship, your dedication, leadership ability, and sparkling personality will remain great memories, Sheila! My best to Steve.

I am so sorry to get this news. Sheila was a wonderful, compassionate person who ALWAYS strove to bring out the best in people. She was by far the best boss I ever had. Rest in Peace, Sheila.
