My thoughts and prayers are with you all. It has been many years since I last saw Shel and the rest of the Wappler family but you have always been in my heart! xo

Shel was my teacher. It was only fifth grade, but I can say with certainty that he changed the course of my life for the better. Much love and gratitude...

I will always carry the memory of Shel the summer i babysat Waldo
It was time to pick up Karen and I had prepared the house with welcome back flowers, etc. Suddenly, Shel arrived and insisted he was going to pick you up. I knew then a proposal was in the works.

With sincere sympathy to his survivors, may he rest in peace.

Dear all,
How blessed I was by Shel's friendship; no words can convey the warm memories I hold of Reinhold, Jane, Karen, Sam, Ivy, and Will.
