I knew Sheldon at Georgetown University where he participated in the creation of a number of original musicals. I can still see him at the piano working out arrangements, coaching singers, and playing for public performers. Always quiet, always the gentleman. Confident, low-key, genial and funny. A remarkable gentleman. I cannot, will not, believe that we will not meet again at another time, in a better place. I send love to all of his family.

I am saddened at the news of his passing and my thoughts and prayers are with his family. I worked with Sheldon at CMH many years ago, and he truly was a wonderful person and an excellent doctor !

Our hearts go out to the Goldberg family. We are saddened by your loss. Dr. Goldberg was a kind and gentle man, a skillful surgeon, and a compassionate person. Our prayers for comfort and strength are with your entire family. He will be missed.
