Cluster of 50 Memorial Trees

Sheldon was such a lovely person. I was honored to get to know him over the last several years while presenting programs for Jewish Art Education at Brightview Woodmont. He was the very first resident I met there and we instantly bonded over our mutual interests in history, art, and genealogy. May his memory be for a blessing.

Single Memorial Tree

We will always cherish knowing Sheldon; for over 40 years he was our unfailingly wise friend, mentor, and confidant. Whether helping us adjust to life after our Iran experience, supporting Joe´s Foreign Service career moves, or advising Kathleen on her artistic endeavors, he was always there for us. We will miss both he and Doris, such rare souls.

Eco-Friendly Memorial Trees

I looked forward to visiting my mother in law at Brightview because it gave me the opportunity to also spend time with Sheldon who would regale me with his diplomat stories only because I begged him to do so. He was a humble brilliant and kind gentleman. On one of my last visits we played scrabble and he got 76 points (triple word score and a bonus for using all of his 7 letters) for the word Greenery. Sheldon will be missed!

One of the nicest people I got to meet. Great sense of humor. We would talk about Seinfeld episodes. Rest easy my friend and thanks for always being nice and respectful to me always.

Nous sortions toujours grandis par nos dialogues vrais, et avions tous l´impression d´être la personne la plus importante au monde pour toi. Quel homme...
