I got to know Gene while working with him at the Tyson facility. He was an all around great guy, with a huge heart that helped people in so many ways when they needed it most. My family's thoughts and prayers go out to the Ritchie family during this trying time. Gene has left an honest positive mark on this earth and it was a pleasure to have known him.

Jim and I worked with Gene at Tyson, as security officers. We will miss him very much. God be with his family at this time.

Gene will be missed by many. He helped out others when ever he was able to do so. We all loved him in our own ways. I had the pleasure of working with him and going out for dinner he was a great friend.
