I just recently heard of Shelli's passing. I served with Shelli in the 1980s at Marine Corp Air Station in Southern California. I was fortunate to not only know Shelli as a Marine but also on a personal level as we had mutual friends, and she became very good friends with my wife. We had not seen or corresponded with her since the early 1990s but thought of her often. Her smile and kindness are what we will always remember. It is sad to know she is no longer with us. Shelli was kind and loving,
i will never forget her she was always like a mom to me, i will never forget that wonderfull smile and laugh that she had brought to me through the years. We would always go together. We allways went places together she was a wonderfull daghter, sister, wife, and friend. I will miss her forever.

I only knew Shelli from afar having worked with her at All American supporting her efforts. Always sweet, kind, & with laughter. My heart goes out to the Carter family as Shelli has left us all far too early. God bless you all.
