Dear Hobson Family:
We in the Snow Family were saddened to learn of Chris' illness and death. All of us have fond memories of being neighbors and friends in the Cottonwood 12th Ward as our families were growing up. Thanks to all of you for your example and kindness to us over so many years.
It has now been 6 years since R.J.'s passing - and we still miss him as I'm sure all of you will miss Chris' bright smiling face and sweet disposition. May you be blessed as you remember the many happy memories together.
Sincere love and empathy,

Dear Hobb and family:
The service for Chris was beautiful and truly represented all that she was to so many of us. What a loss to everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her. She was truly a treasure. What a difficult time to lose a wife and a mother...the day before Mother's Day. Just know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time. Our love to you,

Dear Hob and Family,
It was with great sorrow that I read the obituary of your dear Chris. I have great love and admiration for you and Chris. I remember fondly the first time I met both of you after you had moved into the Stake. Yours and Chris' integrity, honesty and truthfulness were immediately recognized by me and many others in the Stake and the Grandview Third Ward. The faith you both outwardly exhibited in the Gospel and the testimony of our Savior you both exemplified, strengthened all those around you. I will always remember the eternal blessing Chris was to the young mother in the stake who was struggling with the temple. I asked you both to help her by reviewing with her the temple preparation curriculum. Chris took this young woman under her loving care and together they went weekly to the temple. Two years later, during another recommend interview with the young mother, I witnessed her emotional and radiant testimony of the temple and her eternal gratitude for the blessings Chris brought to her personally and to her young family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this tender time. I testify to you of the eternal plan of happiness and the joy it will bring to us all. Thank you for the many blessings you both brought to me as I served in the Stake. You and Chris will always be part of many wonderful memories.
With great love, Dave Fuhriman

Thinking of Chris warms my heart and brings back tender moments with her and my Mom. They were so cute together. Chris took Mom and I out to lunch at the Chinese place not long after Mom got sick. She was so sensitive and kind to my Mom. I will never forget that morning. Mom's mind was pretty crazy at that time but Chris treated her with so much respect and grace. I have always loved Chris through the years but on that day I gained an appreciation of her that meant so much to me. It stands out as one of the most meaningful moments of my time with Mom during her sickness and dying days. I hope there was someone like that in your lives that stood out as a person who showed love and compassion to your suffering, struggling Mom. We really do love people who are kind to and love those who we love. This death thing seems so final but I have often felt my Mom's strength and interest in me over these past 2 years. Hope you too find that to be the case in your lives. I love you, I love Chris and I care.

Cute, darling Chris,
You have been such an example of Christlike love to me. I have so loved being your girlfriend and sharing in your warm glow of affection. I have learned so many lessons from you: be kind to everyone, especially those who are giving you a hard time, bananas are a miracle food, that make you happy, engage and befriend everyone you meet, a girl can't have too many dishes, "It"s a Lovely Day Today", and that fairy tales do come true.
I miss you.
With Love, Your Glitter Girlfriend,

Hob:I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Chris. I remember her at Ott and Chidester occasions where family is so important. As you know, you and Chris were the "favorite cousins" of my mother Joyce, and my Aunt Annette Caro. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and also know that there are many Tropic and Salt Lake relatives that mourn her passing, but are also there to welcome her to God's Kingdom.

Aunt Sherlene was my most favorite aunt and I'm sure she would tell all of you that I was her most favorite niece!! Unfortunately, I'm sure that's how all of her nieces and nephews feel, that they were her favorite. She had such a wonderful spark about her, always making you feel your importance in her life. Words can't express how sad I am to have to wait to see her again until the eternities. She showed grace, love, acceptance, and the true love of the gospel right up until the very end. I am so thankful that she is no longer suffering and look forward to laughing with her again.
Uncle Hob, Paula, Mona and Blake, I know how thankful she is to each of you for making her final days so peaceful, loving and comfortable and that you made it possible for her to remain in her beautiful home, surrounded by all of your love.

Dear Hob and Family,
Words cannot express how much I will miss Chris. We were in the ward together but we bonded one day over getting our nails done at the same salon. We soon found out we had so many similarities and things in common. I would mention a favorite restaurant in Dallas and sure enough Chris had been there. At our ward luncheons, in which Chris would provide us beautiful hats to wear, I would always choose one of her favorites. It was amazing. I felt so special knowing I had so many things in common with this beautiful woman. Monday the 7th was my birthday, I found out Chris had passed after having dinner with my family. I was heartbroken, but I smiled knowing she passed on my birthday, one final similarity.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
With Love,

I was involved in helping Chris produce a family memories photo book for the families for Christmas several years ago, and feel like I know you all through her stories of trips and photo memories of each family and each member. She was so proud of you all and made a special effort to make sure everyone had the same number of photos so no one would seem to be her favorite..she thought of you all as her favorites. My sympathies are with your family. I loved working with Chris and will miss her charming personality.
