Services for Sherry Flanders, 75, are set for 12 noon Wednesday at Pinecrest Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service.
Mrs. Flanders died April 1, 2022, at Magnolia Regional Health Center.
She was born in Corinth on August 18, 1946, to the late Lewis "Pug" and Rubye Crawford Simpson. She worked for the Mississippi State Employment Services as an interviewer for 48 years and also worked in the Mississippi State Veterans Center for almost 8 years. She was a member of the state ladies auxiliary for American Legion and the VFW ladies auxiliary. She was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, visiting with a host of friends but her pride was her children and grandchildren.
Survivors are her sons, Patrick (Brandy) Flanders, Kevin (Tabatha) Flanders and Keith Flanders; her grandchildren, Destiny, Brendan and Ivan Flanders; her sister, Sandra Simpson; and her loving caretaker, Tabatha Strachan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis "Pug" and Rubye Crawford Simpson; her husband, Allan Joseph "A.J." Flanders; and her brother, Stanley Simpson.
Bro. Jeff Haney will officiate the service.
Memorial contributions can be made to Pinecrest Baptist Church, St. Jude, or to the Veterans charity of choice.
