I remember meeting you in Alexandria, VA while you were working for the Library of Congress. We spent only a few hours together and have had little communication over the years. I thoroughly enjoyed our time together and loved your intelligence and sense of humor. Marilyn kept you alive by telling of your accomplishments, trials and especially your fun trips together. I admired you for your stepping in to help others when it was clearly a sacrifice. I look forward to continue learning about you through my sister in law and your twin sister, Marilyn. For now, I will miss you in this world, and I hope you suffer no more pain.

Joel, Kevin, and other family members. So sorry that Sheryl has left us but hope you find peace that she is out of pain and suffering. I just went through obituaries tonight and I am so sorry I missed the funeral. I love your family. What a strenght you all have. I have enjoyed working with Sheryl and Joel. Sheryl and I went to the Dallas Fort Worth Crime Conference and represented American Express. We had the best time and everytime we saw each other years after, we laughed at a few choice experiences that we shared. Think of the good times. Memories can never be taken from us. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

To Sheryl
We are so profoundly sad at your going away, Sheryl, but Heaven rejoices.
Gifted in music, kind to everyone, interested in virtually everything,
History, opera, genealogy, travel, An amazing conversationalist , and a
glorious, blindingly beautiful angel to your magnificent family,
You have joyously passed the last great test of life, death, the last great adventure.
Pain is no more, and your joyous heart can finally dance, dance, dance.

My prayers are with Joel and Sheryl's sister at this very sad time. I worked with Sheryl at American Express for a lot of years and while we were in the same teams I called her SEP as we both had the same name. She taught me so much of the fraud knowledge that I had with the company. I loved her a lot and am very saddened by her passing. She was such a joy to work with and I don't ever remember a day that wasn't brighter when I was working with her. I will miss her but she is out of pain and we will see her again. You have earned your place in heaven Sheryl-rest in peace.

Rest in peace my dear friend Sheryl. You were the best kind of friend anyone could ask for and I'm so blessed that I was privileged to have had you as my friend for the past 30 years. Your untimely passing has left a hole in many lives but we will get through this by remembering the many good times we shared with you. Until we meet again my friend...

We had the pleasure of getting to know Sheryl and her family while she fought until the end. Sheryl never gave up. Her love of life and family, the strength and courage she demonstrated was witnessed by all as she continued in rehab. The relationship with her twin sister and family was touching and the love they shared unmistakable. She was an incredible woman, and will me missed

Words cannot express the love I have for this dear friend. I am honored to have known her. She was funny and quirky and the kindest soul I have ever met. I will never forget her or stop missing her. I am so grateful that she no longer suffers but at the same time I wish she were still with us. My prayers and thoughts go out to the family. Joel you must know that we love you as well and will take good care of you. We loved to dress up on Halloween and also bought a Salt and Pepper costume together that she never got to wear but she was very proud that we won this contest.

I had the privilege of working with Sheryl at American Express. I have never worked with anyone with more integrity, and perhaps most importantly, more human decency than Sheryl.
May your understanding of our Father's plan help you at this difficult time.

I played with Sheryl and Marilyn in grade school. I remember talking under the big willow tree in the Pulsipher's back yard. I think I had a crush on each of them at some point. I am sorry to hear of Sheryl's passing.
