Shiela Denise Tenpenny passed away on February 2, 2025, at her home in Fairfax, Ohio. Born on January 5, 1961, in Cincinnati, OH.
Shiela Denise was a beacon of light who touched the lives of many with her kind heart, unwavering resilience, and exceptional humor, leaving behind a legacy filled with valuable lessons and unforgettable memories that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Shiela Denise was an accomplished accountant, who dedicated her professional life to ensuring financial stability and success for the company she served. Her meticulous nature and remarkable analytical skills earned her much admiration and respect from her colleagues and superiors alike. Outside her professional life, Shiela Denise exhibited an intense love for life's simple pleasures. She enjoyed gardening, going to her gym, and visiting her favorite park, King's Island.
She was a loving daughter to her late parents, Jesse and Mildred Sawyers Tenpenny.
Shiela was a devoted sister to Debbie Tenpenny, Donna Navarre and her husband Troy, and Darrell Tenpenny. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Kyndall Dunn, Kinsley Dunn, Kingston Dunn, Kayla Dunn, Kelson Dunn, Keeland Dunn, Killian Dunn, Tammy Dunn and husband Jeshua, Thomas Woods, and Timothy Woods.
Her funeral service will be held at 12noon on Monday, February 17, 2025, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Jeshua Dunn officiating.
Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky.
