Shirley Tennenbaum Bernstein

I loved Grandma so very much. I miss her everyday, but deep down I truly know that she is here not just in me but in all of us. She was so funny, she always had the silliest laugh and whenever she laughed I laughed, everyone in the room laughs. I am one of the 8 great grandchildren. One of Shirley Bernstein's!

I was lucky enough to rent from Mrs. Bernstein on 3rd St in Covington 20 years ago. As charming as the property was, Mrs. Bernstein was the biggest selling point with her dedication, dynamism, wit, sharp mind & tongue, incredibly compassionate heart, and swiftly pointing out everything that needed to be addressed with her cane. She will always hold high stature in my mind and heart. Cheers to a great lady and truly worthwhile character and human being.

I also remember Gretchen and Prince ( your 2 beautiful German Shepherd dogs ). I will always have fond memories of both your parents. They were always so much fun and an active part of my childhood.
