Not sure what to say?

She was my inspiration at Flowing Wells H.S. Thank you.

The world has lost a spectacular advocate, friend and teacher. You saved my life on several occasions in High School, and during my early years of college. You taught me so many things about how to care for children & people, especially those less fortunate than ourselves. Jim - What a beautiful letter of tribute you wrote to your amazing and beloved wife. Ron told me of Shirley's passing and I am SO sorry. Thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. Love, Pam

Dear Jim, Madeline and Lisa, What a wonderful tribute to a wonderful woman. "You had an eye for people who might be standing back or who might feel uncomfortable in a situation, and you made sure that they felt seen and heard." This sums up Shirley to me so accurately -- and I was lucky enough to be on the receiving end of her gift more than once along the way.

Jim, Madeline and Lisa - I send you love and light for such a great loss. May you never forget the impact she had on everyone she met - including me! She will live on in each of you.

Jim we're saddened by your loss. Your deep love and respect for your wife is palpable. It would appear she was as focused and professional in her work as you were in yours. The strength of your loving family will be a benefit to all of you in the coming days. Dave and Judy Skog

Dear Jim, Madeline and Lisa. Such a bright and beautiful light has left our world. I am so sorry for your loss - a loss for us all - and send my heartfelt condolences.
