Shirley Leppold Obituary

Leppold, Shirley Joan Berry

passed on March 2, 2025. She was born in South Bend, Indiana on January 17, 1940. Shirley, her brother (Ronald), and their parents (Evans and Arlene Berry) moved to St. Petersburg in the 1950's. Shirley attended Mirror Lake Junior High, Boca Ciega High, St. Petersburg Junior College, and graduated from USF St. Petersburg. She was employed by the St. Petersburg Times, the Federal Government, and the state of Florida. Shirley married C. Ronald Leppold in 1959, and together they raised two sons, Dan and Ken. Shirley is survived by a large family including two grandchildren, Victoria and Caroline, and many close friends. Shirley will be placed next to Ron at Woodlawn Memory Gardens, St. Petersburg in a private ceremony. Memorials may be placed at www.DignityMemorial.com, Beach Memorial Chapel, St. Pete Beach. In lieu of flowers, Shirley requested that you donate to www.CASAPINELLAS.org in her memory.
