Shirley Rose Milostan, age 92, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 6, 2022.
Preceded in death by husband of 65 years, Frank F. Milostan, Sr.; parents Hazel (nee Hennekes) and Bill Deitsch; sister, Jane (nee Deitsch) Jackson; and son, Frank F. Milostan, Jr.
Survived by brother, William Deitsch. Also survived by children Steve (Beth) Milostan, Deb (Denny) Eagan, Cyndy (Gregg) Eagan, Becky Milostan, Kathryn Milostan-Egus, Laurie (Dave) Eagan and Ken “Caz” Milostan. Proud grandmother of Gabrielle Wolfe; Kristen Hesse, Kelly Brinkley, Erin Owsley, McKenzie Evans, Brooke and Brady Eagan; Amanda, Kelsey and Brendan Eagan; Morgan Egus; Aly, Bradford, Drew and Sam Eagan; and eleven great-grandchildren. Great-grandmother of Wesley, Ramsey and Ryhan Wolfe; Paige, Lilly and Blake Hesse; Taylor and Hayden Brinkley; Zoey and Ryann Eagan; and Connor Owsley.
A proud graduate of St. Ursula Academy (1948) and St. Elizabeth School of Nursing (1951). Shirley had a special place in her heart for children. She worked in the Open Heart Intensive Care Unit at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and the Critical Burn Unit at Shriners Hospital for Children.
Visitation will be 5:30-8 PM Friday, July 15, 2022 at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 10211 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 AM Saturday, July 16th at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 7754 Montgomery Road, Kenwood with Bishop Joseph Binzer as celebrant.
