Shirley Paul Obituary

PAUL, Shirley, age 90, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2013 from complications of Alzheimer's Disease. Shirley was born on June 13, 1922 to Jacob and Esther Bagley in NYC. Predeceased by Chester Paul, her husband of 65 years, she is survived by her loving children, Judith Mezey (Robert) and Gerald Paul; grandchildren Jennifer Schwartz (Brett) and Barry Mezey and great-grandchildren Lauren, Ellie and Caroline Schwartz. She is also survived by her loving brother Milton Bagley (Joan). Much gratitude to her wonderful caretakers Beatrice Gillispie and Jennifer Morris, as well as the dedicated staff at the Vi in Aventura. Shirley was a woman of remarkable wit and intelligence and will be greatly missed by all. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Dave and Mary Alper Jewish Community Center, Special Needs Program, located at 11155 SW 112th Avenue, Miami, FL 33176. Services will be held at Mt. Nebo/Kendall Memorial Gardens, located at 5900 SW 77 Avenue, Miami FL, on Friday, February 15 at 1 PM.
