Shirley and I have:been friends for 80+ years. My family moved from grassflat to Virginia in the mid 40's, but Shirley and I never lost touch..first thought letters then, later, by text and phone calls. I visited her each summer when my family returned to grassflat to visit my grandparents and others. My parents moved back when my dad retired and they are buried at Kylertown cemetery.
