Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Powers was my KG teacher at Lyon A.B.I. in 1985. As a little girl filled with anxiety about separating from her newly divorced mother and little toddling brother for her first days of school, I was comforted by the care and arms of your mom. She was so kind to me and helped make me feel comforted, secure & confident while at school. I'll never forget her for that and for her sweet and generous nature. I'm sorry for your loss, even though it's been years. I too, lost my mom. My daughter...

Two years have passed and I miss you more every second. Mom, I love you and think of your smile every moment the sun is shining. I think of your playful and fun spirit when it rains and I look back on the walks we would take during my childhood. We giggled happily while splashing in the puddles. When it snows, I think of walks to the park and sledding with you. In the summer heat, I treasured our swim times at the Webster pool.

You always said that memories stood as the best gifts...

Mom, it has been a year, and you are missed just as much. I still want to run to the phone and call you about news, jokes or anything on my mind, but I cannot talk to you. I love you always and I know Heaven is brighter with you there, but I would love to hug you again and have one of our talks.

Dear Jerry, Jo Ann, Tim & Ted: Please accept my sincerest condolences, I was unaware.

Hi Jerry and family,I'm shocked and deeply saddened by your loss of your loving wife Shirley, mother of your three sons, and grandmother of the Powers clan .(Wasn't Shirley a Harris grad?)
It's been many years since I last saw you, but I've always considered you a friend.
From the obituary and other sources, it's apparent that you have a loving and kind family, children and grandchildren.Fortunately, they will still have great memories, happy and recently sad of your lives together....

Mom,

You were everyone's angel down here and now you are one of Heaven's most beautiful cherubs. I love you dearly forever and I was so blessed to have had the best and most devoted mother a daughter could ask for. I miss you more than you know.

Jerry, I extend my condolensces to you and your children. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Coach Powers,
On behalf of the Prep South Class of 1967, let me extend our deepest sympathies to you and your family. I regret that I cannot attend the services; but, I hope you find comfort in knowing that Shirley is resting in peace with God and that you and your family are in our prayers.

Mrs. Hartman, my prayers go out to you and your family. God Bless you all.
