Shirley J. Pratt

Hello, Shirley and I were neighbors in Lake Valley for a number of years in the 90's. We were also co-workers at Boulder Community Hospital during those years. Shirley was the hospital nurse in attendance at the birth of my son William and then thirty years later when he died of cancer she attended his funeral. To Gordon and all of their family , I too, am so sorry and sad for your loss. I echo Paula Martin-Herold´s comments , having been a classmate , and graduate from MHS of Nursing 1961 with them. I treasure the memories with Shirley in school; and later with Gordon and Shirley when my husband and I were blessed with visits in their home. To Gordon and all of Shirley's Family, I am deeply sorry to read this. I am sad. We were classmates and friends at MHSchool of Nursing and have stayed in contact since Graduation in 1961. I am thankful that we got to be together once again last September at MMU for a wonderful Nursing Celebration in Cedar Rapids. Prayers for all of you.
