Shirley Mae Ruble

Dear Donna, Steve, and Donnie, as you know i'm not good with words just wanted you to know you are in our Hearts and in our prayers. Shirley will be missed by more than ever thought possable. She was a wonderful Grandma and always tryed to be a helpful Grandma too. God Bless and be there for your family.

I grew up three doors down from the Ruble family. I have so many fond memories that include Shirley. She always came across as cool and laid back, even when we kids were up to no good (which was fairly often, as I recall). As an adult I valued her advice as much as her infectious sense of humor. Shirley will be missed my all who knew and loved her.

Grandma Shirley will be forever missed. Donna and I are lifetime friends that raised our kids together and a lot of memories at Shirleys house. Grandma Shirley's house was always a fun place to share laughs and wise cracks. Of course, Shirley always had the funniest remarks that would have you laughing hysterically. Donna, we all wish you and your family our deepest condolescences. She was and always will be in our hearts.

Shirley has been a good neighbor for many, many years.
I often wondered why she never called on me when it came time for building repairs and contracting work even though she would at times bring me over to the house and ask questions as to how something had been done.

Everyone loved Shirley. When I was a kid Shirley was my mother's friend. Later in life, I counted her as my friend too and we could easily spend an hour or more yacking away on the phone. I'll never forget her crazy sense of humor or the way she would interject with "ANYWAY" when she was trying to get back to some long-lost point. Shirley was a great lady and a true friend. I'll miss her dearly.

I grew up with the Ruble family and Steve was closest to me in age. My sisters were friends with Donna. Shirley was the friendliest lady and the best neighbor anyone could have. She will be missed. May she rest in peace.
