Dear Pam, Jan, and Richard:

As I've expressed to you, you have my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your mother, my dear friend Shirley. It has been difficult for me to put into words what this wonderful lady has meant to me for so many years.

Shirley and I began working together in November 1978. Our working relationship ended in January 2005 when Shirley retired. I sold Accurate Reporting Service of Jacksonville in December 2004 and stayed on for three months as a consultant to the new owner. Shirley, the dedicated employee that she was, stayed on for an additional two months before her retirement.

As office manager, Shirley ran the office with excellence and efficiency for 26 years. She was always there for me. The employees loved her and, I think, thought of her as their “housemother.”

Nothing was too hard for Shirley. Over the years, she went from a standard typewriter to using computers with ease. Even converting from handwritten ledger books to computerized billing was a challenge conquered by Shirley. I was proud of her!

Shirley was a confidante to me, a trusted friend who always went the extra mile. I cannot imagine a more dedicated, faithful, and loyal employee anywhere on the planet.

We could always count on Shirley to cook the most delicious desserts ever and bring them to the office. You could forget your diet from mid-November until January!

Shirley loved the Lord and her lifestyle proved it. She is the epitome of a Proverbs 31 woman. “She is a woman of strength and dignity…. When she speaks, her words are wise, and kindness is the rule for everything she says…. Praise her for the many fine things she does….”

I know you are missing Shirley greatly. We are never ready to lose our mother. Mothers should be immortal! I too miss Shirley. What a sweetheart of a friend!

I had the privelage of meeting Mrs. Turner through my grandchild and her one of her great grandchildren, Mackenzie. I did not know her well but as a grandmother I could see she dearly loved her family. You all are blessed to have had her guide your lives. Our sympathy and prayers go out to all of you.

Dear Pam & Family--We will miss your mother very much and we're so sorry that she will no longer be a physical presence in your daily lives. She was so charming and generous to everyone at the condos. We always enjoyed talking to her and she helped us out several times with my mother Ingeborg Johnson. We extend our deepest sympathy to all of you family members and we will always hold your precious Shirley in a special place in our hearts also--Vicki & Len Burroughs

I absolutely loved this wonderful person as she was an inspiration to us all to be a positive christian woman. I appreciate all the days Shirley checked on my father for me when I was not able to be at the condo. She was always my go to person for information at the condo and had become a friend of mine. I will miss our chats in the future. My deepest sympathies goes out to Shirley's family and especially to her grandson Brandon. I know Shirley is looking down on our grieving hearts in our loss, but is enjoying those streets of gold with our Lord.

Your Mother was always doing kind things for our family. She loved my Mother, Elizabeth Danson Lehe, so much and was greatly sadden when she passed. I remember her as the lady who pierced my ears the old fashion way when I was a teen. I am praying for all of you during this time.
