Shirley was not only my school bus driver, she was also my Girl Scout leader. I remember a wonderful trip we took to Washington D.C. back in the early 1970's. I even have a picture of her hamming for the camera. She was always smiling and upbeat, which is one reason so many of us remember her. So long, Shirley. What a gal!!

I just wanted to write you and let you know how sorry I am for your loss. Each time I met shirley she was so sweet,motherly and loving. Although a little forgetful at times. Ha ha! She was an expert at making people feel like they are were a part of your family. I will never forget being at her house with you and your sister and feeling like I was a home.
