Sid Caplan

My dear, Uncle Sid Caplan, was my father's, Marvin Caplan's, older brother. They loved each other dearly, and grew up having the utmost respect for one another. They kept in touch every other week, their whole lives. When I was only three years old, I could hear and see the love my father had for my Uncle Sid. I always wanted to be a part of that closeness. My deepest condolences to your family for the loss of your loved one. May the cherished memories you have of Sid help sustain you during this time. May your family be comforted by looking forward to Jesus promise of seeing you dear one again recorded at John 6:40.

My father in law was an exceptional man. The kind of man most of us can only hope to be. He was strong, brilliant, kind, and loved his family. If the world had more Sid Caplans it would be a far better place.
We are all better people for having known Sid. His wonderful legacy will be carried on by his three daughters and his grandson.
