STEVEN J CAPLAN
November 10, 2022
My dear, Uncle Sid Caplan, was my father's, Marvin Caplan's, older brother. They loved each other dearly, and grew up having the utmost respect for one another.
They kept in touch every other week, their whole lives.
When I was only three years old, I could hear and see the love my father had for my Uncle Sid. I always wanted to be a part of that closeness. My father would always call to me, when he was talking to his brother, to come and say hello.
I loved and cherished the moments spent on the phone with my Uncle Sid. He was a purely wonderful, intellectual, and loving person. I have is voice in my heart. The memories of my Uncle Sid will live on forever. My father passed in June of the same year. I miss both of them immensely, however they gave me a true sense of love and respect, that I've carried thru my life, and passed on to my son. Love you, Uncle Sid, and may you be peaceful and in G-ds love for eternity, Steven Caplan

My father in law was an exceptional man. The kind of man most of us can only hope to be. He was strong, brilliant, kind, and loved his family. If the world had more Sid Caplans it would be a far better place.
We are all better people for having known Sid. His wonderful legacy will be carried on by his three daughters and his grandson.
