Sidney Hannick

I have such fond memories of working with Sid. In addition to being very technically competent and great at his job, it was his caring and helpful attitude (towards everyone) that I remember most. He always had a smile on his face and nothing seemed to bother him. He represented everything good about Dahlgren and I will be forever grateful for having known Sid.

Sid was one of the two key people that I felt all newly hired Dahlgren employees should get to know. Sid never hesitated to help out anyone and everyone, regardless of the topic (from electromagnetics to kale gardening to driveway paving). If Sid didn't already know the answer, he'd find it. And he always did so with a smile. Sid was truly a class act, a gentleman, a kind and generous person who made the world a better place.

Sid was a friend of my dad´s and someone who always took the time to tell me stories about the good old days. He was an incredibly kind man and I´m so glad to have known him.

Sid was such a nice person, the kind who would always stop what he was doing to stop and talk with you such that you would always part with a smile. Frankie and I are keeping all the family in our prayers.

Uncle Sid will be incredibly missed. My heartfelt condolences to his family and dear friends.

You will be very missed. I will miss our canoeing and fishing trips.

I have so many good memories of the time that we shared together. This is indeed sad news. Loved you man!!!
