Not sure what to say?

We are sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He and Jackie were wonderful friends to our family. They were both so happy at your wedding. You were truly fortunate to have had the love and togetherness of them both for so long. Sid earned the affection and respect of the entire Chicago community.
Kindest regards, Nancy and Alvin

I was saddened to hear of Sid's passing. He always greeted me with a wonderful smile and friendly hello at the Carlyle. Deepest sympathy to your family. Susan Downing

I was very saddened to learn of Mr. Hess's death. I worked with Mr. Hess at D'Ancona & Pflaum, later merging with Seyfarth Shaw. I will always be grateful for Mr. Hess's confidence and trust in me! When he asked me to type his Life Memoire & gave me a huge plant, I was truly elated. (I still have a copy & would like to give it to you) He'd always make me smile when I'd hear him call me "JoJo"! Such fond memories of both your father and mother. My deep sympathy with you all at this time.. Love

Barbara, Anne, Reuel and Rosie are sending love and blessings for healing. I am thinking of the wonderful lunches we had at the Standard Club when I came to Chicago. Your Dad was quite a man--and the most dapper dresser I've ever seen. Both your Mom and Dad were very loving to me. I have sweet memories. Much love,
