I was 2 years out of law school when Aaron, Aaron, Schimberg & Hess took a chance on hiring me as an associate. I was very saddened to learn of Mr. Hess's death. I worked with Mr. Hess at D'Ancona & Pflaum, later merging with Seyfarth Shaw. I will always be grateful for Mr. Hess's confidence and trust in me! When he asked me to type his Life Memoire & gave me a huge plant, I was truly elated. (I still have a copy & would like to give it to you) He'd always make me smile when I'd hear him call me "JoJo"!
