Sidney Rogak

There was always a Sidney Rogak in our family. He knew me from birth.

My sister Dolly, Sid's wife, was 21 years older than I and was dating Sid for years, as a young girl. She was madly in love with him and he with her. She used to find him waiting on her doorstep when she returned from work at C.B.S. Broadcasting, every day. When the second world war broke out, they married and he went off to Europe. She saved his letters from those times for her whole life.
