Not sure what to say?

Sin and her children have been in my thoughts and prayers since I first read of her death. She was a special spirit who touched all who she came in contact with. As others have mentioned I too have the gift she brought me after a trip home. It reminds me how she was always thinking of others and working to make others happy. May memories of Sin's smile sustain all who knew her especially her children.

I met Sin when I was in UWEC in fall of 1988. I treated her as my sister and we shared together a lot of happiness and sadness during the 4 years in Eau Claire.
We still keep in touch after I moved back to Hong Kong. We teased each other about the silly things that we did in Eau Claire.
I was shocked when I heard the news. But I know that our stories will stay still in my memory and I'll miss her from here.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Sin and her beautiful children. Sin was a hard working, motivated woman who's energy easily rubbed off when around her. Andrew and Wendy were in soccer and gymnastics with our girls - Wendy and my daughter Elise were more interested in picking the flowers than kicking the soccer ball and Andrew was such a sport to help the other parents in coaching the soccer team. Sin was so proud of them and we shared laughs on the sidelines.

Our Hearts and Prayers are with your family during this time. Jerry & Tina (Treu) Maier.

Amidst the mind-numbing grief and sorrow that surrounds all of us I pray that the Trattner and Lam families feel the vast amount of heartfelt love and concern that surrounds each one of them. Sin was truly a gift from heaven and her beauty will live on in Andy and Wendy.

Our thoughts and prayers are going out to the entire family. Love from all of your Learning Tree Friends.

When a long time friend wrote to inform me of Sin Lam's death, I still had trouble putting a face to the name; until I saw her photo. Memories of her-and that honest smile-came rushing back to me; even conversations I have had with her.
I am deeply sorry for her death and will keep her children at the forefront of my prayers. May they be conforted by all the kind words from people who knew their loving mother.

Sin and her children will be in my constant thoughts and prayers. A little of Sin's spirit will live on in every life she touched.
You are missed Sin.
Sally

The first time I saw Sin Lam was when she came to University of Wisconsin Eau Claire in the fall of 1989 as fresh man.

Sin Lam always carry with her a kind of energy, enthusiasm, and kindness that is more than contagious. She is hardworking, smart and honest.

Her passing is absolutely un-fortunate and I am still trying to absorb the news.

I feel sorry for her children and I pray that they will be in safe pair of hands to take care of their future....
