There are times when there are too few words left to heal us, when what we wish for is to be carried, when all we have left is the hope that tomorrow will be a more gentle place to land than today. Sofia left a lasting impression on everyone she knew (well or otherwise), and made a huge impact in the lives of others even in her abbreviated time with us. She is gone from our sight, but never from our thoughts, and gone from our touch, but never from our hearts.

We will always remember Sofia with her warm smile and amazing hugs that she gave. She was always so encouraging to the younger Greek school students and we will truly miss her. I know that heaven has another angel who will always be in our hearts and memories. She was truly a beautiful person! God rest her soul and may Damian and Irene find peace and understanding during this unbearable time.
