Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to learn belatedly of Soldano´s passing. I helped him with a legal matter and we became friends. My daughter Anna worked in his lab during a summer break from college and he was a wonderful mentor. He gave her many opportunities and treated her very seriously.she will never forget his kindness. I know that he was absolutely devoted to his research and loved medicine. A lovely man.

Professor Soldano trained me to write research grants and was instrumental in my success in publications and grants. I was fortunate to be a co-author in his publications. He was a Gentleman and a Professor of the Highest Order! As a practice in my religion, every day morning I pray for his soul to rest in peace and feed birds in my backyard in his name. He will be remembered in every day of my life. May his soul Rest in peace.

Dear Ferrone family, my sincere condolences for your loss. Soldano was a special person, very kind and supportive. I greatly appreciate the opportunity of knowing him and working with him. May he rest in peace.

Condoglianze sentitissime. A very kind, sincere, and joyful person.

Dr. Ferrone allowed me into his lab as an intern at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. My time there reaffirmed my interest and furthered my career in immuno-oncology. His dedication to science as well as the development of future scientist, has and will continue to, leave an immeasurable mark on science and all of humanity. My thoughts and prayers are with your families.
