Obituary

Sondra Locke (1944 – 2018) was an Academy Award-nominated actress and frequent co-star of Clint Eastwood. She was nominated for her screen debut in “The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter” (1968), based on the novel of the same name by Carson McCullers.

Locke is perhaps best known for the six films she made with Clint Eastwood, including “The Outlaw Josey Wales” (1976), “Every Which Way but Loose” (1978), and “Sudden Impact” (1983), an installment in the Dirty Harry series. Although they were never married, she and Eastwood were in a serious relationship for over a decade that ended in acrimonious legal battles. She detailed that relationship as well as the ultimately negative effect it had on her career in her autobiography, “The Good, the Bad, and the Very Ugly — A Hollywood Journey.”

Her final film, “Ray Meets Helen,” was released in 2017.

Not sure what to say?

For New Year to Sondra: Your Soul, weightless in the light to rest, untouched by density of earthly pain. In song of truth, your bygone quest is like a high star, free in its domain.

For New Year to Sondra: In the wise cosmic light your soul lives and reveals its very own essence as a cosmic figure of light and individualized light. And you look back on your past lives, carried and guided by the hierarchies of the angels.

For Sondra, November 3, 2025 After your death in 2018 you now live on in the soul world with all your spiritual parts; but you look back on the period of time in which you lived here on earth with your Self. You look back on your earthly life, and this period of your life remains there, stays behind, and you always see it as you continue to live, carried and guided by the angelic hierarchies, at the point in time where it was. In this way, you remain connected to the earth without being...

From Sondra: Fate sent me into a deep sleep. I am not dead, I have only changed rooms. I live in you, I enter your dreams, since transformation met us as we were united. You believe me dead, but I comfort the world, I live there with a thousand souls, in this wonderful place, in the hearts of loved ones. No, I did not leave, immortality redeemed me from death.

For Sondra: An Indian sage expressed life and death in a beautiful image: "Your soul came from the land of the spirit to her earthly life as if to a river. There she entered a boat, her earthly life, to cross her earthly existence. Finally arriving on the other shore, she left the boat behind and now continues her journey in the land of the spirit." So, you walk already in the land of the spirit while I am still rowing across the river.

To Sondra: Inwardness for your soul Love wants to go its way unharmed from my soul up to you in heavenly light. How you fear for my dignity. I want peace with all world-judgement, with all over-zealousness, ambition and all vulnerability. Love wants a small release on the path of life so that you, oh soul, will be set free, and I can love people, animals, plants and the earth.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

In memory of Sondra The usually always present wind was silent for once and up there in the warm light the sky became clearer and came closer as if I had quietly had entered another world your world Former Winterberg Castle ("Robber Castle") Elbe Sandstone Mountains, June 2025

To Sondra: Your soul light in the soul and spirit world. In the light, the etheric body of your soul weaves and shines in the achieved fullness of past lives. In the wisdom-filled cosmic light, your soul itself lives and reveals its very essence.
