I was shocked and saddened to learn of Sonia's passing. She was such a positive influence in my life. Sonia replaced my mother's sophomore English teaching position after my mother's (Alpha Hann) retirement, and several years later, during my student-teaching days, I had Sonia as my supervising teacher. She was brilliant, compassionate, and supportive. I extend my deepest sympathy.

Sonia and Bob lived across the street from us on Mountain View Drive for many years. We loved Sonia's toffee at Christmas time. She was so fun to visit with. We continued to see her when she moved, but saw her frequently driving down our street looking at the old house. She will really be missed. We loved her (and Bob). My sincere condolences to your family at this time. Keep all those memories close to your heart.
